​They say opposites attract but what if the odds are stacked against them?

Having grown up in foster care, music teacher and pianist Isabelle Parker is no stranger to change and upheaval. So when an opportunity presents itself to follow her best friend to the small, quaint town of White Lake, Texas, Isabelle doesn’t think twice about making the move. She quickly embraces the place as home, and even with her bold personality, purple hair, and unconventional teaching methods, most of the town seems to embrace her too; even if they don’t quite understand her.
Pastor Dustin Jansen likes structure and predictability. But there was no predicting that he would become a widower so young or be raising a daughter with severe anxiety all by himself. When his daughter Charlotte develops an affinity for music, her counselor suggests private lessons with Isabelle. Unsure if the bold and quirky music teacher is really the stability his daughter needs, Dustin is hesitant at first; but everyone around him assures him that she’s uniquely qualified for the job.
As Charlotte and Isabelle start working together, Dustin is struck by how much his usually shy and anxious daughter is coming out of her shell. Even more surprising is how he enjoys her company as well. But just as they start letting go of past hurts to see if opposites really do attract, outside obstacles threaten to destroy not only their budding relationship but the new lives they’ve both built in White Lake. Are their differences too much to overcome? Or will they be able to trust that with God’s help their love can be more than enough?
